It should work well, though there is no AF assist light, and recycle time is longer than current Nikon flashes. The auto ranges are limited,
also, compared with the SB-24,5,6 flashes, but so is the price.;-)
I prefer to use it with a cp05Y to correct the color to the more pleasant balance of the current Nikkor flashes.
