No, but its codec is both high-quality and fast-rendering.
Since part of editing is filtering/adjusting video to
optimize quality of the finished product, I would be "lost"
working with reduced-size/quality original. As it is, I
work with both a full-res/full-speed computer-monitor
preview window (in Premiere) and use a good 20" TV at the
same time (possible with Raptor, with its ability to use
hardware overlay for the monitor and also output an "S"
signal to an analogue TV [camera or A->D/D->A converter
is needed for all this, though]).
