I didn't like the basic Premiere interface (which I
do not consider very "intuitive"...) - but you can do
something about that, and change the interface. See:

layout of P-5.1, which I still prefer to 6-6.5 - but
mebbe I will start using one of my copies of P-6 one of
these days...;-).
