It's a good review. Items missed:
The Sony also has picture adjusts
(the "custom controls"), though
they are far more limiting in the
range of what you can control; the
pictures are similar in sharpness,
with the Panasonic showing more
oversharpening artifacting than
the Sony for the same image detail
appearance (the Sony is therefore
actually a tad sharper...). The
Panasonic DVX100 is the nearest
I've seen to the PD150/VX2000
overall, so far (but I have not
seen the JVC300...). I will stick
with my VX2000s, though...;-)
As CP noted, though, there was
nothing on the sound (see his
comments, above...) - though it
appears the DVX has no volume
control on the headphone output,
an odd omission...;-)
