TV *is* an interlaced medium - showing non-interlaced
material on it *will* (generally...;-) show differences
in motion-smoothness. BTW, film, at 24 fps is quite
annoyingly "unsmooth" with motion - ask any cameraman the
"gyrations" he must go through to minimize problems with
film and motion (like not zooming too fast, not being too
near fast-moving objects, choosing one pan direction over
the other, etc.). Again, why give away one of video's
advantages by using PS mode: sharp and smooth rendition
of motion?
