You didn't waste your money - its characteristics
are different, and if those of the TRV20 better
fit your needs, it is the better camera for you...
I tried to point out the differences, not say one
is better than another universally (though this is
true for the TRV900 over all one-chippers, and
again in turn, the VX-2000 is better than all the
above in terms of picture-quality - but if your
need is for a compact camera [mine was, in the
instance described], the VX-2000 would not be
the best choice...).
