Yes, the bayonet on the PB-4 I have does not extend into the camera
far enough to contact the electrical terminals in the body of an
8008. It may be necessary to mount the camera on the bellows
vertically so the grip misses the base of the bellows - though it
can be turned for horizontal photos once it is mounted. BTW, some
enlarger lenses are a perfect press-fit on the BR-2 ring, which
allows them to be used on the PB-4. (They may need a strong skylight filter to approximate the Nikon lens color.) Lenses about 100-150mm
work well for infinity focus with tilt and shift, and can be surprisingly sharp for normal photography.
