This does work well, but it depends very much on the availability of
"a low white ceiling" for the flash reflection for the large light
source - something that is rarely available to me in my work. (It
often amuses me to see news photographers "bouncing" their flashes
off a high dark ceiling or the open sky - with only the small index
card supplying any useable light, thus wasting battery power.)
