Still likely a relatively poor tripod compared with the
$180-$250 Matthiews-Libec or Bogen... I recommend going
the other way and buying the cheapest and removing the
Lanc controller, since this is still the cheapest
available (the RM95 is not much more, though...).

WOW! Major mfgrs' web sites that, after MANY years, are
now useable!!!? I must look at these!!! ;-) It has amazed
me how Sony has survived with its ever-changing, ever-bad
web site...
