Hi--

you have a great site, very informative. I am a film maker, and I shoot on 16mm or super 16mm, I had one
question, in your INDEX you have a section labled SUBJECTIVE Lens Evaluations (Mostly Nikkors) -
version 5k. Can all of these lenses be used on a 16mm, Super 16mm, 35mm, or 35mm still. Do i need a
converter or what will I have to purchase to use these lenes on a super 16mm. Thank you for reading this.

Nikkor lenses fit only Nikon-bayonette bodies, with the exception that
there is a 16mm standard-thread (Bolex) adapter, one for the Eclair,
and possibly others. Since the film area is so much smaller, the angle
of view is much narrower with the lens used for 16mm film, and
resolution
is not optimized for the smaller area, making most good 16mm-format
lenses
probably sharper...
