Uh, as I said in the post you tagged onto, but did
not respond to, "the 1.2 is sharp at f1.2 at normal
medium-close distances but is poor at wide stops near
infinity-focus". This makes it quite useful for
room-interior available-light work, even at f1.2.
This lens is better at these distances at stops wider
than f2 than the f1.4 is, good as that one is at f2.
The 50mm f1.2 is not sharp off center for more
distant work until it is well stopped down. Speed
lenses, retrofocus WAs without CRC, and many zooms
are distance-sensitive for resolution...
