I dunno... Nice suggestions, if you want all those features,
but I am still happy with MF, ME, center patch metering, and
maybe a motor, so the 8008 (non-S), FA (and similar), F3 (and
similar) Nikons do what I need. Never could understand Canons
with mystery buttons under trap doors and/or the need to bring
along a thick manual, Minoltas with separate cards to purchase
and misplace for features I don't want, or, apparently, some of
the newer Nikons with too many buttons (though, I must say that
the N6000 [no AF, no itty bitty flash, and no spotmeter, but with
the ability to control TTL flash fill ratios on the body where it
should be] is growing on me - small, light, and with only the
features I want, in an easy to control package, like the
updated N2000 it is).
