I used to use a pair of N2000's (F301?), the non-AF version (also
no interchangeable finder screens, but the one in it seemed brighter
than the N2020 screens) of the N2020, for commercial work. It was a
wonderful camera, and it ran forever on a set of either AAA or AA
(requires a different camera bottom) batteries. If nothing is wrong
with the N2020 (besides the AF - try cleaning the AF sensor...) you
are looking at, you will probably like it. It feels good, the motor
is relatively quiet, rewind is manual (quiet, and the film tongue
is easily left outside the cartridge), and exposure is accurate and
easy (no "Matrix" or spot metering to confuse or mislead you...;-).
