Ah, you've hit me with two stumpers today...;-) I never use A, S, or P modes, so I don't remember... (I may have an N2000 book in the darkroom -
hold-on.......;-) Hmmm, the book says nothing, but I tried it while
looking into the lens, and it appears to use about f5.6 with ASA 100,
proportionally different with other speeds (to keep the useable distance constant)

No, but you may be able to count the ASA notches from one end or the other
(not too practical...). Or match the meter up with another, set same way,
reading same subject.
