This reminds me that I once tried to adapt the Minolta 250mm f5.6
(tiny!) mirror to the Nikon mount (I failed, since the back space
requirement of the Nikon was too great to keep infinity focus,
darn!), since it was a good mirror (I maybe would like to try
again with an 800mm f8 Minolta mirror, if someone has one
to sell cheap enough...;-).
