The combination worked well mounted on the VX2000 until last
year, when I was recording in a steel-frame building with
lotsa cell-phones, wireless networks, etc. in it. Since
then, even in churches away from high-concentration radio
areas, I've had occasional problems (making 2-channel
recordings useful - if one suffers interference, often
the other doesn't). Best: hard-wiring - but I'm not going
to do this for long distances! ;-) I have used the Mini-Disk
solution also, but mine will not keep synchronization
very long, and the buttons are vulnerable to being pushed
if the recorder is placed in a pocket on the groom...
