These are very different mics.
For a small stereo mic, the 908c is decent
(with sound quality about like what you get
with built-in mics, but with a little more
isolation from the camcorder "works"), and
it is nearly omni-directional. The MKE-300 is
large, very light, mono, fairly directional,
fairly good in a light wind, and it has
acceptable sound quality. The best of this
type is no longer made, darn it: the Sony
ECM-Z157 - I want more of these (any
sellers??? ;-)
