It is actually an excellent program, and even better in its
original Corel form, due to the numerous goodies that
came with it (I have a spare sealed copy of that, if anyone wants
it...;-), including a simple 3-D program, and some pretty
decent royalty-free music. Its one BIG flaw: it rerenders
everything, not just transitions, effects, and filters - so
outputting the finished video can take a VERY long time.
