I would avoid the Lloyds loader if it still uses a felt trap for the
film to pass through - it can cause you much grief! Alternatives
are the Alden (similar to the Bakelite older Watson design), the
older Bakelite Watson, and the current Watson (fogs a bit more film
during loading than the other two). They are only slightly more money,
and worth it! BTW, the frame counters are not accurate on any, but
you can figure out the frame number error with experience. A good
number of frames to load is 35, so they will fit on an 8x10 contact
sheet. (Remember to account for the fogged end of the roll!)
