Hmmm, I guess this explains the soft-everywhere-but-the-center photos
I have seen taken with the Leitz (and the soft-everywhere 20mm Canon
[defective samples] that I have seen.....), and the sharp-everywhere photos that I have taken with the Nikkor ;-). I don't take too much stock in magazine lens "test" reports - somehow they often don't seem
to check the same lenses I do, even though the same names and numbers
are on the front.......
