But that would be pretty obvious - it is hard to miss
the "misplaced" squares with the error correction - it
replaces bad spots in the current frame with bits from
the previous frame, which is invisible if the area
affected has no motion - but it is hard to miss with
motion in the affected area....;-) You are right that
other than potential dropout rate, SP and LP modes
shoould look/sound the same. BTW, I have switched to
LP-mode shooting for most of my "casual" shooting - it
has proven quite reliable for me (so far...).
