Then you have never used a Sony - with the compact,
high-capacity batteries available, the cameras operate
for hours, *with* the LCDs in use...;-) Much as I find
them useless for bright-light work, I'm glad to have
the panels for those long tripod shoots inside -they
save my back, and generally make my work easier
in these situations.
