Actually, I think there are two versions of the "Pro" - be careful which you get, since they have virtually the same names. You want
the larger-fronted one to avoid vignetting with the VX-1000 (which is
why you don't want the non-Pro [which also may not be as sharp...]).
Try B&H - their price may be lower on this. In use, there is some
barrel distortion at the short end (OK...), some corner softness
at wide stops (use aperture-priority and choose f5.6-8 when possible,
which gives sharp corners). A home-made "lip" shade is often useful.
I wouldn't be without my three Kenko .5's...;-)
