Ah, and for "only" about $500 more, the superior
VX-2000 is obtainable...;-) If you look carefully
at the samples, The VX-2000 shows excellent
detail - and if you prefer "harder"-looking edges
(given many one-chippers [and some 3-chippers] to
compensate for lower resolution), you can boost
the "sharpening" edge-effect in the VX-2000 custom
controls. BTW, I was impressed with the sharpness
of the new TRV-30 in the comparison frame-grabs...
