It is useful in "seeing" how some insects view
plants - they can look different in patterning than
they do under visible light. Nikon makes a UV lens
(as does Hasselblad, as I recall...), but most don't
pass much UV. Used with a UV-pass filter, color film
can be exposed by UV. A search should find the name of
someone whose name escapes me (Rorslett?) who has
UV images on his web page... BTW, I like shooting
