Both compress the video, but the IP5 compresses it
more - and it is harder to get it into and out of
many video editors, in addition to the lower-quality
consideration...

IP5 = cute toy; PC120 = good useable camcorder (under
ideal lighting conditions for it, that minimize its
image problems - soft light, with few contrasty edges
and textures work best...).
