Don't worry about it - make sure the lens functions normally, and is
optically not defective (the 20mm Nikkor should be sharp to the corners
by f5.6 at all distances) before the return period expires - the chances
that a problem will arise with the lens during the first year are small
if it is OK to begin with, and the B & H warranty (or the difference in purchase prices...;-) should cover a repair, if needed.
