I just couldn't "face" tri-focals myself (and they narrow the height
of the distance lenses - which is why I place the 25mm flat-top's
lower than normal in a large distance lens [less interference with
the camera peepsight (;-), and better side and ground vision} and
with longer than normal focus distances [for best close-mid sharpness,
and better continuous focus ability coming down from infinity], and I
remove the glasses completely for reading, or use a pair of reading
glasses).
