The GL1 (and others) are compared with the Panasonic
AG-EZ30U, essentially the "guts" of a DVC15, at...

BTW, the GL1 came out last in the comparison among
the several compared, for both picture quality and
audio quality - but it appears the picture of the
GL2 is MUCH improved, and is almost as good as that
of the VX2000... See also:
