It also has a clever hot-shoe-mount XLR adapter accessory,
and independent channel audio level controls. It seems
Canon has attacked the numerous shortcomings of the GL-1
with a vengeance (it looks like it may be a very good
camera, with higher picture resolution, better low-light
range, and more useful features like the independent
audio level controls, slow shutter speeds, etc.).
Interesting for users of the WD-58 WA converter
is the offering of a nice "scoop" clamp-on shade for
this.
