All three are reviewed at:
www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/camcorder-comparison.htm
Read the excellent comments in this thread, look at
the reviews (and frame-grabs), consider what is
likely the most important to you, then do what I did:
I bought two VX-2000s for their top picture and sound
quality (yes, I get nice, quiet-background, tonally
well-balanced sound from the built-in mic, and picture
quality that is spectacularly good [though, as with
anything in TV, not perfect...;-]); a TRV-900 for
those times when a VX-2000 is too big and awkward to
handle (hard as that is to believe for "shoulder-mount"
camera users...! ;-) - and the footage mixes reasonably
well with the VX-2000s for 3-camera shoots; and a PC-1
to satisfy "tiny" needs (and footage from it, too
[with some work during editing], can be mixed with
the others - and when placed on a mic stand, it is
VERY unobtrusive for close-in-viewpoint shooting when
running unattended during events). In other words, one
can easily justify owning several different cameras
(I also use a TRV-9 for shooting daylight B & W IR
footage, and as a deck...). Among the three cameras
you first mentioned, though, I do find differences
in both sound and picture quality that would lead
me to place the VX-2000 as first choice, all else
being equal - and the prices of all three are not
all that far apart...
