The VX-2000 is only a tad more expensive than
the GL-1, is a VERY noticeably better camera, and
in general is better also than the XL-1. Once you
have it and see what it can do, sell one XL-1 and
replace it with a second VX-2000, then go for the
third...!;-) You will be money ahead on the deal,
with better, more compact gear. BTW, I

I did not think much of either the GL-1 picture
quality or sound quality relative to some other
possibilities...
