Any and all SLR lenses ever made for, or by, Nikon will fit your
camera without adapters or adaptation! (Lenses without the coupling
prong at f5.6 can be used with stop-down reading [press up on the
body meter coupling in the center of the bottom front edge of the
meter prism until you hear two clicks before mounting the lens {the readout on the meter front should be at f5.6}, then press the DOF
button while metering [Release it before pressing the shutter
release! {Otherwise the mirror may stay up after the photo - but it
will return after the next frame.}].) How much more compatibility
could anyone want than that?! Concerning pricing, look through some
issues of Shutterbug and back through posts in rec.photo.marketplace
for the most reliable actual prices Nikkors sell at.
Hope This Helps
