They are the same, except for one important (for some) difference:
the FM2N synch's at 1/250 second (colored on speed ring - the non-"N"
has a 1/200 second speed next to the "B" setting, which is its top
[non-metered, though] synch. speed). The 1/250 metered speed is useful
for daylight fill-flash.
