Still a neat little camera... When it appeared, I about barfed that
Nikon had stooped so low - but now it seems like a paragon of solid,
precision plastic construction (compared with newer cameras). Has
everything one could (should ;-) want, except for DOF preview and
interchangeable screens - all in a miniscule package.

Flip the lens aperture to smallest stop, and shoot away (watch the
shutter speed, so it doesn't go too low [or turn on the dad-blesset
low-speed warning beeper...]). If you want to know what aperture
the camera is using in program, open the aperture while metering
until the error warning lights just start blinking in the finder,
then look at the aperture ring. To get DOF, *C A R E F U L L Y*
unbayonette the lens slightly (enough to let the aperture stop down).
--> Remember to relock the lens afterward!
