But why would anyone who does a lot of color-correction,
special-effects, local-sharpening, titling, etc. use
such a clunker?! Editing is not always just straight cuts
and simple short transitions - often a lot of picture and
sound correction is needed for a polished result, and it
sounds like Apple-FPC would be a poor choice for this (in
addition to possible issues of errors introduced by the
Apple DV CODEC with renderings [especially multiple levels
of renderings]). I have virtually no experience with FCP,
but I did not like the interface much when I looked at
it briefly, and the other issues, if true, reinforce my
first impressions - this is not an editing system I would
want to use for what I do...
