I am surprised that the price is that low - new, they are about $1100,
I think. The camera is built better, to handle pro abuse and higher
use before failure, and the viewfinder is MUCH better (98% coverage,
no distortion, sharp to corners, higher eye relief), and the motor is
faster (there is also mirror lock-up, 250 exposure backs, several finders,
specialized screens, etc. - and it will meter PC lenses well). The TTL
flash has limitations, but does allow (with an accesory) TTL fill ratios.
As to value increase, I don't know, though I would expect minty F3's to rise if the F3 is discontinued (F2AS's can still go for $7-800!).
