The FM2n synchs., and therefore meters, at 1/250th instead of 1/200
(with no metering at that speed). The F3HP finder is THE BEST, period.
(No distortion, 100% viewing area, sharp all over (even with short lenses), easy to focus with (bright and contrasty image), easy to see the whole frame with glasses, easy to clean, umpty-'leven screen
types are available for it, etc., etc.... The FM finder is not as good,
but is quite decent compared with some other camera brand finders I have looked at - at least you can manually focus with it quite easily.
It does take screw in diopters.
