The "B" is it... (or the similar "E"). BTW, darkness often
equates with easier focusing (if not viewing) due to the
higher contrast. Also, BTW, zooms, everything else being equal,
are harder to focus than non-zooms due to the different way they
accomplish focus. And, the older lenses often were not designed
to optimize viewfinder viewing brightness (all other things being
equal, two different lenses can look much different in brightness
in the finder...). The lens is a good zoom - I recommend trying to
manage with the viewing image brightness. The "K" screen adds
"focus aids" that get in my way, but you may like them...
