They are the identical camera with different (interchangeable)
viewfinders. The "HP" has a larger eyepiece and prism, and
slightly lower image magnification, allowing greater eye
distance from the finder while being able to see the whole
image area (which, BTW, is easy to do even with glasses with
the "non-HP" finder, which is also smaller, lighter, and
cheaper...;-). I like the HP finder (and the even "more-so"
Action finder) since it gives a view of the image rectangle
in a larger field of black, making composition easier - though
it also makes "keystoning" of that rectangle easier since the
large eyepiece allows decentered viewing.
