The F2 is unique in the Nikon line in that it allows continuously
variable shutter speed setting above 1/125th second... [above the
sync speed, actually...] BTW, its meter is also amazing in that 1/6th-stop ASA settings can be made
(and the ASA ring can be recalibrated VERY easily, allowing exact
calibration of the meter if the meter response is linear).
