Ah, but with that itty bitty peepsight VF eyepiece, which I can no longer
focus through for some reason, and the total lack of TTL flash capability,
without which I would be totally lost, I - DON'T - THINK - SO! :-)
Actually, I do like the F2, but I can't use it (or the N6000, 6006)
because I can't see their GG's sharply anymore - though all other Nikons
are fine. And I am spoiled by the really accurate shutter speeds of the
F3 (I always had to remember the 1/15th was often off in the F and F2's -
and usually one or more other speeds, too). And F3's meter PC lenses
correctly off-center. And, then, there is that BIG eyepiece....
And the screens are brighter (though the glass is interchangeable
between the F2 and F3 frames). And the meter reads the same in horizontal
and vertical positions. And parts are still available (heck, the whole
camera is still available if I lose one). Oh, well, you get the idea
(though I resisted switching from F2's to F3's for a while after they
