Reading back, that was an F2*A*, which meters
normally with any AI lens except the "G"
series (which can, awkwardly, be metered
"stopped down") - non-AI lenses can be metered
using the "stop-down" method. Similarly, the
pre-AI F2 will meter non-AI lenses normally, and
those without a hook-up pin using the "stop-down"
method. It is hard to find greater versatility
than this (or a better body...).
