I would (and did) buy two F100 bodies without the
extra grip - this provides back-up/second-film-type,
and easier packing/carrying. I do not miss the grip.

Good lens selection at the long end, but weak
at the short. A 35mm f2 is THE indoor events lens,
with the 24-120 useable at 24mm inside. Consider
adding a 20mm f2.8...
