We just bought a pair of E. P. 700's for $94 each, including
shipping (from an Onsale.com auction), but these refurbished
units are also available from the Epson site for about $150.
Print quality is EXCELLENT - VERY near photo (Epson 720
dpi paper, or better, Epson photo paper, proper set-up and good
digital file for printing), and better than other printers' output
I've seen except possibly for the Epson 1200 (bigger
prints, slower printing, more expensive). Even the slightly
tweaked output of a mid-line Kodak digital camera makes a
good-looking 6"x8" print - good-quality affordable digital
photography is finally here...! ;-)
