What lab did you use? If neither Fuji's or Kodalux's, I would
suspect lab problems. If it was Fuji's, I would suspect heat
damage. (They made the asinine decision to locate their only
lab in PHOENIX Arizona! I quit using them in the summer when
I got tired of film getting heat damaged in transit.) Which
makes me think your problem may have been caused by heat on
your trip - unprocessed Kodachrome is less sensitive to heat
than the E-6 films.
I know this doesn't help much....
