I have a considerably "less able" computer than the one you mention,
and the DPS Spark (not "+") works fine, using IBM UDMA Deskstar
drives (8 and 14 appear to work fine - and you will need more than
just one drive [and these are relatively cheap, compared with
SCSI's...]). It is possible (with Spark ver. 2 software) to feed out to
tape at least hour-long videos without problems (from multiple AVI
files).
