Canopus Raptor is easily set up and run - and its codec
is better (higher-quality and faster-rendering) than what
you get to use with cheap OHCI cards. And Premiere comes
with the Raptor, for under $500 total - but Premiere-6
or MSPro-6 (needed to run with OHCI cards, for versatile
editing capability and compatibility with the cards) are
EXPENSIVE purchased separately... Or, for "cheaps", buy
a friend's old DPS Spark card for $125 and a used copy
of P-5 - it is still quite useable (though not as nice as
the Raptor...).
