I gather the later VX-1000 (upon which the DSR200A is based) have a different
color bias from the earlier VX-1000s (rather yellow-green in bias). The
VX-2000 is near-neutral, and would not mix well with my early VX-1000s,
so I sold them (see VX-2000 review for frame comparisons with VX-1000).
The VX-2000 image is enough better that you might want to consider a
DSR-250 or PD150 (both have same front-end as VX-2000) for main camera,
VX-2000 as second... (otherwise, the VX-2000 will soon be your first camera...;-
).

On the early VX-1000, no (see review), but on the later VX-1000,
probably close enough. Does your 200A have a noticeable color bias?
