Yes. I never tried the TR500 (and the TR400 had a poor
DIS system), but the TR200 and TR700 of that era were
excellent for one-chippers, and better than both the
competition at the time (including the fancy/expensive
Canon entries) and the recent Hi-8 offerings by all
makers... As for DIS/OIS identifiers, I did say, "for
some time now" - and the new TRV950 will have a 37mm
filter size *and* OIS...;-)
